Supply Chain Manager (Industrial Manufacturing)
We are collaborating with a globally recognized leader in high-tech equipment manufacturing, renowned for its cutting-edge solutions and commitment to excellence. With a strong presence in over 20 countries and decades of expertise, our client specializes in providing advanced B2B equipment and solutions, also with a B2C division, with manufacturing and distribution. Their products, including state-of-the-art concrete and mixing equipment, play a critical role in driving progress in housing, infrastructure, and urban development projects.
We are seeking a driven professional as the Supply Chain Manager to join their business and team. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain function, from demand planning to final product distribution.
This role, reporting to the Operations Director for Iberia, has direct responsibility for the Demand Planning team, Production Scheduling team, Incoming Goods Warehousing, Outbound Distribution Warehouse, and Transport operations (customer deliveries).
The objective of the role is to ensure service level excellence, inventory optimization, production alignment, and cost-efficient logistics operations while supporting the company’s growth and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Demand Planning team.
Implement and manage robust forecasting processes in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning reliability.
Translate commercial forecasts into actionable supply plans.
Lead the Production Scheduling team.
Ensure optimal production planning aligned with capacity, material availability, and customer priorities.
Manage planning KPIs (OTIF, adherence to plan, backlog, lead time).
Oversee Incoming Goods Warehouse operations (raw materials, components).
Lead the Outbound Distribution Warehouse to guarantee accurate order preparation and dispatch.
Implement best practices in warehouse management systems (WMS).
Manage transport operations for customer deliveries.
Negotiate and manage relationships with logistics providers.
Define and monitor inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points).
Identify automation and digitalization opportunities within planning and logistics processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a major in engineering, business or a related.
At least 5 years of experience in the B2B industry, working for multinational companies, with a role as Supply Chain Manager, strong industrial manufacturing experience, and people leadership approach.
Work experience in European Matrix environments is required.
Excellent skills in team building and development.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
