Technology Manager (Industrial Manufacturing)

Their products, including state-of-the-art concrete and mixing equipment, play a critical role in driving progress in housing, infrastructure, and urban development projects.
Position Summary
The Technology Manager will be responsible for leading technology strategy and implementation across our manufacturing plants. This role oversees the Maintenance and Engineering teams, ensuring high equipment reliability, continuous process improvement, and successful execution of industrial projects.
This role, reporting to the Operations Director for Iberia, focuses on improving production efficiency, process automation, equipment performance, and digital integration within punching, bending, and assembly operations.
The ideal candidate has a strong industrial background, at least 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role, and solid communication skills in an international group.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s manufacturing technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in punching, bending, and assembly processes.
Identify, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
Oversee industrial engineering activities, including process optimization, cycle time reduction, and OEE improvement.
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality and New Project Development teams.
Manage CAPEX projects related to new equipment, machinery upgrades, and digital manufacturing tools.
Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives (data collection, traceability, MES integration, predictive maintenance).
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Manage and develop the technology/engineering team.
Coordinate with external suppliers, integrators, and technology partners.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or technology leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in metal manufacturing processes such as punching, bending, forming, or assembly.
Experience managing industrial projects and CAPEX investments.
Strong background in process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Technical Skills
Knowledge of CNC machinery, automation systems, and production equipment.
Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing data analysis.
Understanding of Industry 4.0 and smart factory concepts.
Solid project management skills.
Languages
Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
